You will be staying at a family run farm, set on a panoramic hilltop immersed among the green hills of the beautiful Casentino. This is an ancient land of castles, monasteries and characteristic villages, largely untouched by time, where today, the people are still celebrating traditional rituals. This is a truly alternative and unique view of Tuscany. Although it is situated close to the major art centres of Florence and Arezzo, the Casentino Valley is well off the “beaten tourist track”.

Accommodation at the farm consists of a hamlet of characteristic buildings which have been restored in an authentic manner……all equipped with kitchen and bathroom facilities. They have been lovingly decorated in a warm, rustic style reflecting the true ambience of the locale, featuring local timber and stone. Some with ancient original internal features such as fireplaces and vaulted ceilings. We hope you will delight in the attention to detail along with the comfort and simplicity of the surroundings.

During your stay on the farm there will be many opportunities to taste seasonal gourmet specialties of the region including pecorino cheese, mushrooms/chestnuts in Autumn, exquisite fruit, nuts and berries during the summer and fresh fish from the local cascading mountain streams. The farm also produces it’s own organic products including vegetables, herbs, eggs and a range of its own delicious conserves. The farm kitchen takes pride in presenting wholesome food of superb quality and variety which reflects the culture of the region.
